Not on viewDescriptionThe Late Gothic New Delft church (Nieuwe Kerk), founded in 1384, is an elongated basilica with a transept (1420) and a choir with ambulatory (1455). In the choir stands the mausoleum of William the Silent (William of Orange, 1533-1584) comprising a recumbent marble figure and five bronze statues. It was completed by Hendrik de Keyser and his son Pieter c. 1621.
