DescriptionThis painting shows an unusual composition for Rodríguez Báez but continues to reflect the main interests that informed his production from the beginning of his career: the defense of Puerto Rican culture and traditions. In this work, the artist presents a series of masks evocative of the "vejigantes" who participate in the carnivals of Ponce and Loíza.
