Puerto Rican, born 1938
BiographyBorn in Mexico. He studied painting at the Academia de San Carlos in Mexico City. A sculptor of works in clay and bronze, he creates human figures in a generally classical style with strong references to Michelangelo and the High Renaissance. He infuses them with a great modernism by the way of their expressionist sensibility and emotional power. He has also participated in several international, individual, and collective exhibitions.
